Open Source Calculator For Android Tablet & Phone!

Recently, I spent all of my time to make an open-source calculator that works well for Android tablet and phone. Then, today I am exciting to announce that I have finished the app!! Ambient-Calculator is the only open-source calculator that supports tablet UI well. Hope you enjoy it! Visit here for more: “Click Here”.

What types of apps are you missing from the FOSS ecosystem?

Here are two types of apps I’m missing from the FOSS ecosystem:

An accessibility tool that lets you control a pointer in the upper half of the screen from the lower half of the screen, with which you can tap/long-tap screen elements. It makes today’s giant smartphones easy to use one-handed. A proprietary app I use is called Quick Cursor, but on a degoogled device I’m sadly limited to the free…

NewPipe "forced" 360p on YouTube videos (Potential error)

ArceusI:

I think NewPipe could try this technique to make ID Age Verification meaningless somehow.

Ok, what is “this technique”? Do they have source code available? From a cursory look this looks like proprietary SaaSS which means we don’t know how it works and can’t use “this technique” in our own programs.

If I had to guess though, because you can’t just magically "make the age…

OCR apps that actually get it done?

Hi,

Just a quick update: both of your suggestions have now been implemented in the latest RC:

GitHub

F-Droid Basic 2.0 Alpha 10 Search is slow [continuation from email thread]

One small caution: that log link and password are public here, so if the log includes installed-app lists, repo URLs, device identifiers, or anything private, I’d remove or rotate it after maintainers have it. For the bug itself, the useful extra detail is probably one exact search term, whether the repo update finished before searching, and whether it also happens after clearing F-Droid Basic’s…

NewPipe "forced" 360p on YouTube videos (Potential error)

It’s hard to say, but if Nevercap does it, then it’s more than possible for NewPipe to somehow get something like that to work. It would be a huge step up for Privacy, and a huge L for Google, and it would open the floodgates open for Membership bypassing, which further increases Privacy, though at the cost of creators losing money.

Nobody wants to reveal their IDs, nor do they want to feed the…

NewPipe "forced" 360p on YouTube videos (Potential error)

I noticed, but still, Nevercap has a way around YouTube’s Age Verification problem (Since YouTube itself DEMANDS an ID and/or Face Scan to go through it), if NewPipe considers it, then YouTube loses that avenue of data collection, and we could theoretically bypass YouTube Memberships too (Since it’s nothing more but a money pit because Google makes a lot of money from it, and pay-walling…

Gnirehtet provides reverse tethering for Android

Despite gnirehtet running as the only internet access on a smartphone, F-Droid : “No internet” above, although I can install apps, but the issue:
