2026 Le Guin Prize for Fiction Shortlist

The Ursula K. Le Guin Literary Trust has announced the shortlist for the Ursula K. Le Guin Prize for Fiction, awarding a $25,000 cash prize to the author of a book that reflects the concepts and ideas that were central to Ursula's own work.

The nine shortlisted titles are:

Rebellion Publishing imprint Solaris has announced that it is being acquired by Profile Books. As of July 1, 2026 Profile will take over turnover and ebook distribution.
