The embedded cords in an unvulcanized rubber mixture, for a vehicle pneumatic tire, are parallel hybrid cords using a twisted filament with a high elasticity module of at least 25000 N/mm2> and a second twisted filament with a lower elasticity module of not less than15000 N/mm2>, twisted together. With a cord count (E) per 5 cm of layer width, on a force (F1) giving a stretch of 2% and a force (F2) giving a stretch of 6%, the hybrid cords meet the expressions F1XE>=600N and F2XE>=1500N.
