An automotive combination switch comprising a switch unit, said switch unit comprising: a knob (23); a pivotal axle (31) provided at the end of the knob to be coupled with a pivotal hole (24c) of a first sliding element (24); an operating element (35) having a slant slit hole (35a) in the outer side wall surface which hole is to be engaged slidably with a driving axle (36) provided at the end of the knob (23), and a guide axle (35b) which is to be fitting to a guide groove (24b) provided in a horizontal direction in the inner side wall surface of said first sliding element (24); a second sliding element (32) coupled with said operating element (35), at the same time fitted to a guide rib (26a) of an intermediate cover (26) to be slidable along said guide rib; a contact element (38) attached to said second sliding element (32); a pattern provided on a printed board (37) to be opened/closed by said contact element (38); and a case (4) for housing and holding said respective components.
