The method involves utilizing another manufacturing process, such as pullbraiding or pullwinding, simultaneously or at different times. The rim is made in two layers by pullbraiding or pullwinding, where an inner core (1) is made by pultrusion, and an outer layer is made of woven fabric (2) to wound or braid the core. An assembling joint is welded with thermoplastic matrix. Another assembling joint is shifted to the former assembling joint in the core in a wrapping or braiding made of woven fabric. An independent claim is included for a rim with long fiber strands consisting of aramid-, carbon- or glass fibers.
