Bead reinforcing structure for a heavy duty tire having a bead in which a carcass (1) is turned up to surround a bead core (4). The bead reinforcing structure includes a carcass, and an inside steel chafer (3) having a first predetermined inclination angle and an outside steel chafer (2) having a second predetermined inclination angle. The inside and outside steel chafers are disposed inside and outside the carcass, respectively, thereby reinforcing the bead from the inside and outside of the carcass.
