SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING ONE OR MORE VEHICLES

The present disclosure relates to a computer system (100) for controlling a vehicle (10, 10a) relative to at least one adjacent vehicle (10, 10b) operating within a confined geographical area (200), the computer system comprising processing circuitry (102) configured to: determine a position, speed and trajectory of the at least one adjacent vehicle relative to a position, speed and trajectory of the vehicle; determine that a first collision (80) between the vehicle and the at least one adjacent vehicle is imminent based on the determined position, speed and trajectory of the at least one adjacent vehicle relative to the position, speed and trajectory of the vehicle; predict an impact level of the first collision on the vehicle, the impact level being indicative of a predicted effect of the first collision on the vehicle; determine at least one alternative trajectory for the vehicle based on the predicted impact level and any predicted potential secondary collision between the vehicle and at least one object (lOc); and control the vehicle based on the determined at least one alternative trajectory.
