The present invention is directed to a tire including a tread portion 2 having a designated rotation direction R. The tread portion 2 includes first inclined grooves 3, second inclined grooves 4, and first land portions 5. Each of the first land portions 5 includes a tread surface 5s, a first side wall 11, and a second side wall 12. At least one of the first land portions 5 is provided with at least one recess 15 formed by locally recessing the first side wall 11. The recess 15 is open in the tread surface 5s. In a plan view of the first land portion 5, a maximum recessed amount of the recess 15 in a direction orthogonal to a longitudinal direction of the first inclined groove 3 is 10% to 25% of a maximum length of the first land portion 5 in the direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction.
