The device (10) further comprises a processor (14) that is designed to generate a video or control signal so that a display area (30) can be displayed by the display device (100). The processor (14) is further designed to determine a movement relative to the display area (30) based on the input signal. The processor (14) is further designed to select an adjustable function from a plurality of adjustable functions of a climate control system of the vehicle based on a movement determined in a first direction. The processor (14) is further designed to adjust a value of the selected adjustable function based on a movement determined in a second direction substantially orthogonal to the first direction.
