METHOD AND DEVICE FOR ENTERING DATA WITH TWO TYPES OF INPUT AND HAPTIC FEEDBACK, ESPECIALLY IN A MOTOR VEHICLE

The invention relates to a method and a device, in particular in a motor vehicle, for data input with haptic feedback. The method comprises the following steps: detecting a touch position on a freely programmable touch-sensitive display device (103), selection of a function via the touch position (110), detecting a contact pressure force on the freely programmable touch-sensitive display device (104), triggering of the selected function by exceeding a first force threshold (110), output of haptic feedback (108), wherein temporally and spatially adjacent touch positions are combined into touch traces (105) and the touch traces are classified according to touch gestures (106), wherein functions are subdivided into touch functions and control element functions (101, 102) and a control element in a first trigger region on the freely programmable touch-sensitive display device is assigned a control element function, which is triggered by exceeding the first force threshold in the trigger region (110), wherein upon this exceeding of the first force threshold haptic feedback is output (108) and after subsequent falling below a second force threshold a further haptic feedback different from the first is output (111), wherein at least a second trigger region on the freely programmable touch-sensitive display device is assigned at least one touch function, which is triggered by a defined touch gesture (113), wherein the triggering only occurs when the contact pressure force is below the first force threshold (107). The invention further relates to the associated device (1).
