STRUCTURAL BODY INSIDE OF WHICH THERMAL INSULATING SECTION IS PROVIDED, PISTON OF INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE, AND INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE

In a structural body inside of which a thermal insulating section is provided, the coefficient of thermal expansion of a member constituting a first portion of the structural body is lower than the coefficient of thermal expansion of a member constituting a second portion of the structural body. The first portion is a portion interposed between a surface that undergoes a significant temperature change during the use of the structural body, and the thermal insulating section. The second portion is the other portion of the structural body than the first portion.
