Furthermore, the present invention discloses a charging plug (100) for coupling with a corresponding connection device and for transmission of electrical energy, wherein the charging plug (100) is characterized in that it has an electrical connection body (10) according to the invention, wherein the cooling fluid channel (30) of the electrical connection body (10) is fluidly connected to a cooling fluid source. Moreover, the present invention discloses a charging station for supplying electrical energy to an electrical energy receiver, wherein the charging station is characterized in that it has a charging plug (100) according to the invention and a cooling fluid source which is fluidly connectable to the cooling fluid channel (30) of the electrical connection body (10).
