DRIVE OF AN INDUSTRIAL TRUCK WITH AN ELECTRIC MOTOR AND A SPRING-LOADED BRAKE DEVICE

The invention relates to a travel drive (1) of a material handling vehicle with an electric motor (2) that has an output shaft (4), and with a spring accumulator brake device (10) that acts on the output shaft (4) of the electric motor (2), wherein the spring accumulator brake device (10) has a brake rotor (11) rotatably connected to the output shaft (4) and an axially displaceable pressure plate (12), wherein the pressure plate (12) is acted upon by a spring device (13) in the direction of a braking position of the spring accumulator brake device (10) and by a release device (14) counteracting the spring device (13) in the direction of a release position of the spring accumulator brake device (10). The spring accumulator brake device (10) has a brake housing (30) that is provided with an adjustable brake stator (15) of the spring accumulator brake device (10), against which the brake rotor (11) can be acted upon by means of the axially displaceable pressure plate (12), wherein the pressure plate (15) and the brake rotor (11) are arranged in the brake housing (30) and wherein on the outer surface of the brake housing (30) in the region of the brake rotor (11) a maintenance opening (35) is formed for determining the wear of the brake rotor (11).
