In contrast to a lot of work that would follow, this was all done with tape and blocking, no markers.

The challenge with spray paint was, at first, every can had opaquing agents in it, so how to work translucency into a piece? Not to sound like the single weirdest person on earth but I miss working with harsh solvents. That water was done by layering blue paints and then blasting it with pressurized acetone/cap cleaner, then moving it around with silicone spatulas.
