A man accused of murdering Kerry farmer Mike Gaine has been sent forward for trial before the Central Criminal Court after being served with the book of evidence.
Gardai initially treated the disappearance farmer Michael Gaine as a missing person’s case
Mr Gaine’s dismembered remains were subsequently found on his land in May 2025
Michael Kelley, 54, made no comment when he was charged in connection with Mr. Gaine's death
The court appearance comes almost a year on from the disappearance of Mr Gaine.
The development comes almost 24 hours after former US soldier Mr Kelley was arrested on suspicion of murder
