An independent analysis suggests ecobee’s Grid Resiliency service delivered 108 megawatts of real-world capacity during peak summer demand events in 2025. The company says widespread adoption could unlock as much as 2.8 gigawatts across the United States and Canada, though long-term reliability remains an open question.
