Having re-launched Splitgate 2 as Spligate: Arena Reloaded late last year, 1047 Games have now kicked off early work on a new shooter. PlayStation are reportedly shuttering another first-party studio, this time from Call of Duty vet Jason Blundell

It sounds like Sony are continuing to do what they presumably coldly view as cost cutting. Activision pressured Call of Duty studio Infinity Ward to make a game about Iran invading Israel, claims former developer

Chance Glasco, an ex-lead animator on the Call of Duty series, has claimed that Activision once pressured Infinity Ward to make an entry in which Iran attacked Israel. He did so in response to a video montage posted on the official White House Xitter account, which combines the USA's real life military strikes against Iran with killstreak animations and Call of Duty interface elements.
