The Milwaukee Domes Alliance has raised more than half the private funding it needs in order to break ground on the Domes Reimagined project to restore and expand the Mitchell Park Horticultural Conservatory domes, CEO Christa Beall Diefenbach announced on Tuesday.

On May 15, the Domes have taken a step closer to potentially being added to the National Register of Historic Places.
